Account Manager – Hospitality

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Technology Account Manager to join our team. This role will work closely with client executives & success teams and is focused on driving new commercial business within strategic hospitality clients, leveraging advanced technological solutions & services to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality technology, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales or account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients in the hospitality industry. Understand their needs and preferences to provide tailored technological solutions.
- Sales and Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, strengthen customer loyalty, and achieve business goals. Prospect and manage the full lifecycle sales process with new and existing customers.
- Technical Expertise Coordination: Provide guidance & access to expertise on hospitality technology solutions, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS) systems, guest services technology, and other critical infrastructure.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with client teams, project management & support operations to leverage existing relationships and drive additional opportunities. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and support of technology solutions.
- Market Analysis: Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry activities and relevant market trends as well as attend specific trade shows. Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improving revenue and overall opportunities.
- Escalation Handling: Be a strategic conduit for client escalations & route complex problems to the appropriate teams as needed.
What will you need to succeed?
- Experience: 3-5 years of successful commercial technology services sales experience & the ability to interpret & respond to RFQ, RFI’s & RFPs. Ideally you should have experience across multiple technology domains; Architecture, Networking, Security, Compliance, Automation, or Virtualization/Cloud
- Industry Knowledge: General IT Background as well as in-depth domain knowledge and experience within the hospitality vertical and supporting technologies unique to the industry.
- Goal Oriented: Self-motivated, confident, competitive & thorough
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to develop sales and new business through prospecting and managing the full lifecycle sales process with new and existing customers
- Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills to identify and analyze customer needs and maintain a strong working knowledge of industry activities and relevant market trends
- Time Management: Proven time and responsibility management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues
