Job Description

Arch Amenities Group, the world’s leading hospitality, fitness, and leisure firm, is looking for a Hospitality Assistant Manager for a premier hospitality program in a Class AA commercial office building in Dallas, Texas. Under the direction of the Hospitality Manager, the Hospitality Assistant Manager will help oversee the daily operations of the tenant lounge bar and event space, including bartender supervision, inventory management, event execution, customer service, and facility operations.

In addition to managerial duties, this role requires working scheduled bartending shifts and covering bartender shifts as needed to ensure smooth operations and consistent service standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to balance both hands-on bar service and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the “Arch Amenities Group Experience” by ensuring brand standards, guest service protocols, and operational excellence.
  • Supervise the daily bar and hospitality operations, including bartender scheduling, opening and closing duties, reporting, and bar setup/breakdown.
  • Work scheduled bartending shifts and provide coverage for bartender absences to maintain service continuity.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages while maintaining a professional, engaging guest experience.
  • Assist in creating standard operating procedures for bar service, guest experience, and facility maintenance using company templates.
  • Track and report key operational statistics such as bar sales, event participation, and customer feedback.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure efficient stock levels and cost control.
  • Monitor P&L reports, financial performance, and labor costs, adjusting schedules and purchases to meet budgetary guidelines.
  • Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating bartenders and hospitality staff to ensure high service standards.
  • Conduct staff meetings and training workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and guest service skills.
  • Support event execution, including private bookings, corporate happy hours, and special events, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors and bartenders.
  • Ensure compliance with TABC regulations, health and safety standards, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts, responding to guest needs and overseeing staff performance.
  • Proactively address service issues, staff performance concerns, and guest complaints in a professional, solution-oriented manner.
  • Gather guest feedback, resolve service issues, and implement strategies to enhance the overall tenant experience.
  • Collaborate with the hospitality team on marketing initiatives, promotions, and programming to increase engagement and revenue.
  • Assist with general facility oversight to maintain a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming environment at all times.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing bartending, staff supervision, and event execution efficiently.
  • Maintain strong organizational skills, ensuring accurate inventory controls, financial reporting, and TABC compliance.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and operational challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports, inventory logs, and operational checklists as required.
  • Attend scheduled team meetings, professional training, and property management briefings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in hospitality, bar management, or food and beverage operations; luxury experience preferred.
  • TABC certification and Food Safety certification required.
  • Bartending experience with strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Ability to work bartending shifts and provide coverage for bartender absences.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively address operational challenges and staff performance issues.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to ensure a premium guest experience.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to balance structured procedures and adapt to changing demands.
  • Experience in event execution, catering coordination, or corporate hospitality preferred.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, financial reporting, and basic budgeting.
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional events as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically active bar environment.
