Qualifications

The Internship is scheduled for 14 weeks as Full Time, 40 hours per week position to complete the entire course. Special Circumstances will require and adjusted schedule. We are Open 7 days a week both AM and PM Shifts. Most schedules allow for 2 unschedule days a week. Following are the rotations:

Hostess – 1 week

Server Assistant/Food Runner – for 1 week

Barista – for 1 week

Barback – for 1 week

Bartender – for 2 weeks

Server – for 2 weeks

Leadership – for 4-6 weeks

QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• Current TABC and Food Handlers Certification Required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
• Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Someone with excellent communication skills
• Constant standing and occassional walking, bending and reaching
• Manual dexterity of hand and fine motor skills in order to carry trays and use all kitchen/serving equipment, ie., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, plates, glasses, bar service bottles and containers, etc……
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push/pull goods up to 50 lbs or a maximum of 200 lbs on a hand cart/truck.
• Ability to strictly follow all sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules practicing clean-as-you-go techniques.
• Inside and Outdoor outlets standing on hard floors. Work entails varying conditions of noise levels, temperature, and air humidity levels. Outdoors, some exposure to extreme and inclement weather.
